ABOUT CROATIA PUMPE NOVA
CROATIA PUMPE NOVA Ltd. is the first and the largest Croatian pump manufacturer, founded in 1949. We are a successor of well known Jugoturbina Pumps Works Karlovac.
In our 70 years long tradition, based and developed from ex. Jugoturbina experiences, we produced more than a 70.000 different types of pumps so far, mainly used for ship technologies and process industry. With our production program we continued tradition of quality pumps works in Karlovac. Our production factory is equipped with all machines and test facilities for production, reparation and testing of pumps.
Our team consists of fully qualified people ranging from engineers and specialists to project managers. Our duty is to give best and quality service and products, guaranteeing at a same time for product quality and customer satisfaction.
Croatia Pumpe Nova has been producing pumps of its own design and in cooperation with some of the best-known manufacturers for 70 years. We owe our longevity and success to our highly experienced engineering and technical staff.
Our production program consists of 12 pump groups, of our own design and of versatile application, which are manufactured in 250 different sizes and more then 500 different designs. Their capacities range from 10 – 40000 m3/h and their total manometric head from 0,1 – 150 bar, which ranks Croatia Pumpe among the greatest pump manufactures in the world.
Croatia Pumpe Nova pumps are characterized by their multiple application, up to date design, high power parameters, as well as their reliability and long life. Our pumps have already achieved world's top quality. Apart from standardized pumps, all special types of pumps are available upon customer’s request.
Quality and Environmental protection
At Croatia Pumpe Nova Ltd. we find Quality and Environmental protection as an integral part of our business policy. Company’s activities are completely focused on customers’ requirements. To perform this task well, we have incorporated Quality management system ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015. Both are compliant with Standard 10 CFR Appx B, which represents a basis for the execution of work, delivery of aggregates and spare parts for Nuclear Power Plants (NPP Krško, NPP Paks).
We find that Quality management system; process approach and continuous improvement on effectiveness of the Quality management system and Environmental protection will provide better and faster production, quality of service and products delivery and thereby increase customer, employees and stakeholders’ satisfaction. Company’s goals are to achieve continuous growth and development and as a result of it, revenue increase. We plan to execute these objectives and goals by being competitive on existing markets, penetrating into new markets and use optimum employment of available capacity and resources. All levels employees are of utmost importance to our company and their optimal inclusion will ensure the achievement of these set goals.
Environmental management system is based on:
- Continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System,
- Pollution prevention, and
- Compliance with legal and other requirements
In accordance with the above, we will:
- - Separately collect and remove hazardous and non-hazardous waste and waste whose valuable properties may be used
- - Undertake activities on raising awareness on environmental protection for our employees
- - Consider environmental protection when making business decisions
Each individual role in the system is to:
- - Perform tasks and duties according to procedures and health and safety regulations
- - Identify and rectify problem as soon as possible
- - Search for and suggest ways for better performance, functioning as organizational unit and a system as a whole
This policy is a framework for defining Quality and Environmental protection goals. This policy is considered on a regular basis by Management audit and, if necessary, it can be amended or supplemented. Management board ensures that quality policy is introduced, accepted and implemented by all employees in the organization.

Croatia Pumpe Nova were founded on the know-how and experience of quality pump works tradition in Karlovac, thus becoming well recognized European pump manufacturer. Building on our tradition and new vision of future we are prepared to give you solutions to all your inquiries.
Croatia Pumpe Nova Karlovac founded in 1949 as Jugoturbina Pumps Works Karlovac in short time become world known pump manufacturer with its own development and design.
In 1991 with Croatian independence Jugoturbina Pumps Works changed name to Croatia Pumpe Karlovac, thus continuing glorious tradition of pump manufacturing in Croatia.
During turbulent war years, from 1991 to 1995, Croatia Pumpe Nova kept its entire production program and developed into modern and market oriented company.
At the end of 2006 we become a member of one of the largest and most prospective Groups in Croatia – Strojopromet-Zagreb. This alliance positively reflected on our business policies and practices which resulted in making Croatia Pumpe Nova a leading pump manufacturer in this part of Europe recognized by our brand and quality.
