APPLICATION

Propeller pumps are designed for supply of capacious quantities of water at low heads, beeing thus very economically applied in the system of irrigation and drainage, industry and etc.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

Propeller pumps are of an axial type, i.e. water flows into a suction bell mouth axially passing via impeller and stator diffuser, being further directed through a discharge pipe to the piping. The pump itself is of a simple and solid construction Bell mouth, stator diffuser, tube casing, discharge elbow and electro-motor pedestal are made of qualitative grey cast. Rotor blades can be of alloyed steel or bronze. A shaft is of alloyed steel as well. A normal design of blades is executed so to enable adjusting of a blade angle of attack as required for an adequate working point during erection in the works. Upon a customer's requirement, the pumps provided with deflecting blades in operation, are also produced. Such design ensures deflection of blades by means of a special device. If necessary, the blades can be deflected during operation, for an adequate angle to achieve as much as better efficiency. Upon requirement, we supply pumps of a such design, which enables axial removings, of rotating parts out of the casing. Pumps with deflecting blades in operation are manufactured only from the size 80-100 onwards. The shaft consists of two or more parts, reciprocally joined by a rigid coupling. Bearings are of a slide type, either of bronze, grease lubricated from an additional lubricating pump mounted on a motor pedestal, or of water lubricated non-metal materials. Main axial bearing is a roller or slide one and it is lubricated by oil. The shaft is by means of a flexible coupling joined with an electro-motor. Sealing of pump is carried out by ordinary packings or labyrinth ones, however, upon requirement other various packings can be installed.

A row of VS pumps is arranged to suit all requirements regarding supply of clean and slightly turbid water, cold oils, liquid fuels etc. It is also serviceable at civil and industrial waterworks, artificial rain, fire-fighting purposes, for the production of delivery water in hydraulic water plants etc. These pumps can supply medium of temperature up to 105°C. VSv pumps are applied for hot water supply up to 130°C, because pakcings can be cooled. They are equally adapted as feed water pumps and condensate supply pumps. VS design is adapted for temperatures lower than 105°C. KV pumps are fit for the pumping of clean water and the water containing substantial amount of impurities. Range of these pumps is suitable for particularly heavy suction conditions, then at the condensate supply, higher geodetic suction head and resistances in a suction pipe etc. They can supply medium of temperature up to 80°C. KVv and KV pumps with packings cooling chamber are applied to supply hot water up to 105°C. KPP/VKPP Type Canal Process Pump

KPP/VKPP Type Canal Process Pump

  • Q = 3 – 800 m3/h
  • H = 6 – 90 m
  • p = 10 bar
  • t = -30 – 250 ºC
  • nmax = 3500 rpm
  • Catalog (.pdf)

KPP pumps are non-clogging centrifugal pumps for delivery of dirty water and all kinds of aggressive and abrasive media with a higher percentage of solid matters, fibers, wastes and other impurities. They are used in paper industry, sugar mills, aluminum oxide production, for waste and dirty eater transport and everywhere where they can suit depending on their working performances. The adequate choice of material enables transport od abrasive and aggressive media up to 200°C.

Pumps are designed with 4 types of impellers (closed with 2, 3 and 5 vanes and with 3 vanes opened). Choice of the impellers depends on fluid contents of solid and fiber matters and their characteristics.

  • Q = 1 – 700 m3/h
  • H = 4 – 240 m
  • p = 35 bar
  • t = -70 – 300 ºC
  • nmax = 3500 rpm
  • Catalog (.pdf)

APPLICATION

RPP pumps are designed as process pumps for very rigorous working conditions in process industry. They are made as per API610 standard, 7th edition (API = American Petroleum Institute). These pumps are delivered on the purchaser’s special request and as spare part for delivered pumps. They are used for transport of all media in refineries, petrochemical industry, chemical and pharmaceutical industry, food industry, thermal power plants and everywhere where working conditions are such that can be realized by these pumps. The adequate choice of material enables transport of abrasive and aggressive media at very high temperatures and pressures.

DESIGN

Pumps are designed as per API 610 standard, 6th edition. RPP pump is designed as single suction, single stage, horizontally pump with liquid axial inlet and radial outlet directed upwards. Impeller is keyed on the shaft. Shaft is supported on two ball bearings. Pump casing is installed between pump volute casing and bearing support. Stuffing box is provided on the pump casing cover. By means of spacer-type flexible coupling pumps can be dismantled and rotating parts can be pulled out without electromotor dismantling. Pump has one-part, single inlet volute casing which is separated by means of thicker walls (addition on corrosion 3 mm). Flanges are designed as per N ANSI standard. Impeller is radial, single flow, closed type. Shaft is supported by standard oil lubricated and cooled bearings. Axial thrust balancing At these pumps axial thrust balancing is achieved by a wearing ring and pressure equalisation cores. (API 610, 7th edition) At AP1610, 5th edition axial thrust balancing is achieved by impeller back-to-back vanes.
